The Maxvision Intelligent Warning Terminal is a laser-based safety device installed at both ends of unsignalized crosswalks. Utilizing nano-grade semiconductor lasers and precision optical lenses, the device projects 28 red laser lines onto pedestrians’ lower legs the moment they step toward the zebra crossing. This creates a highly visible red warning zone that alerts approaching drivers from a distance, enabling timely response to pedestrian presence. Simultaneously, the terminal emits an audio alert to prompt pedestrians to stay aware and cross quickly, significantly improving nighttime safety at crosswalks without traffic lights.
